Advanced Pigment Correction & Hyperpigmentation Treatment

Pigment correction is one of the most clinically complex areas of aesthetic medicine- and one of the most commonly mishandled. The wrong treatment, the wrong setting, or the wrong sequence doesn't just fail to correct discoloration. It can make it significantly worse, particularly for deeper skin tones where the margin for error is narrow and the consequences are lasting.

At The Injectables Lounge, our entire clinical team is trained and certified in advanced pigment correction protocols across all skin tones and all Fitzpatrick skin types. Every treatment decision is physician supervised and built around the specific type, depth, and cause of your discoloration.

Pigmentation issues aren't one-size-fits-all. We focus on what’s driving your discoloration and treat it with a coordinated approach.

We evaluate:

Rather than chasing discoloration with isolated treatments, we build a coordinated, physician-supervised strategy that corrects color, protects skin integrity, and prevents recurrence.

Phase 3:
 Maintain & Protect

Phase 2:
 Correct & Brighten

With skin properly prepared, we target unwanted pigment, uneven tone, and sun damage using a carefully selected and sequenced combination of treatments. Every modality is chosen based on your specific pigmentation type and skin tone. There is never a one size fits all protocol.

Correction without maintenance is temporary. Phase 3 is where results are preserved- through ongoing care, sun protection strategy, and periodic maintenance treatments that prevent rebound pigmentation and protect the investment you've made into your skin.

Before any corrective treatment begins, the skin must be stable. We address active inflammation, identify and reduce environmental  and hormonal triggers, and prepare the skin barrier- especially critical for melasma, sensitive skin, Hidradenitis Suppurativa, and darker skin tones, where aggressive early treatment can trigger rebound pigmentation.

 Phase 1:
 Calm & Control

Effective pigment correction isn't a single treatment-  it's a sequenced protocol. Skipping phases or rushing the process is one of the most common reasons pigmentation returns or worsens. We follow a clinically proven three-phase approach:
