Laser hair removal is a long-term solution for unwanted hair that uses targeted light energy to disable hair follicles at the root. The result? Fewer ingrown hairs, less shaving, and smoother skin year-round.

At The Injectables Lounge, we use medical-grade laser technology to safely treat a wide range of skin tones and hair types with minimal discomfort and impressive results. As always, treatments are physician-supervised and designed to work with your skin, not against it.

how does laser hair removal actually work?

how many sessions do I need?

is laser hair removal permanent?

does it work on all skin tones and hair colors?

can i get treated if I'm tan?

does it hurt, and is there downtime?

The laser targets pigment in the hair follicle, heating and disabling it during active growth phases. Over a series, you’ll see significant, lasting reduction in hair growth.

Most areas need 6–8 sessions spaced 4–6 weeks apart (face often closer to 4 weeks; body ~6 weeks). Hormones, hair color, and area can affect totals.

It’s best described as long-term reduction. Many clients stay smooth for years with occasional touch-ups due to hormones or new follicles cycling in.

We can treat a wide range of skin tones with proper settings. Darker hair responds best. Very light, gray, or red hair may be less responsive—your consult will clarify results to expect.

Tans can interfere with laser targeting and increase risk of side effects. We’ll advise a no-tan window and SPF use before and after your series.

Most describe quick snaps of heat—tolerable and fast. No true downtime; mild redness may last a few hours.

which areas can you treat?

how should i prepare before my appointment?

Face (lip, chin, cheeks), underarms, bikini/Brazilian, legs, arms, back, chest, shoulders, and more.

Shave 24 hours prior, avoid waxing/tweezing for 3–4 weeks (follicle must be present), skip self-tanner/active tans, and arrive with clean skin (no lotions/deodorant on the area).

How much does laser hair removal cost in indy area?

Laser hair removal costs vary depending on the area treated and the number of sessions needed. Smaller areas start around $150, while larger zones require more sessions and investment
